Be sun safe! Make sure your kid has applied sunscreen before camp regardless of the weather. Our all day campers will re-apply during their lunch break so be sure to pack it in your kid's bag.

Camps run as scheduled whenever possible, however, safety always comes first. We make decisions based on what's best for our campers and team based on the recommended guidelines from Canadian and American health agencies.

- Do you still run your camps when the weather's bad?
Our camps and lessons run rain or shine so come prepared with weather appropriate clothing and related gear.
Still, your kid's safety is our priority. The programs may hold off on certain activities until conditions improve, and if the weather is potentially hazardous, the program may be cancelled after careful consideration. Learn more about our weather policy here.
- Do you conduct background checks on your instructors?
Yes! Our instructors undergo thorough background checks prior to joining our team and are well trained in skill development, safety, class management and program delivery.
Our swim team are also certified by the Lifesaving Society and in CPR-C.
See our child protection policy here.
Inclusivity at camp
+- Are your camps inclusive?
Joyful activity is for everyone! Our classes have small ratios of students to instructors and we offer private lessons for those who want one-on-one attention. However, while our instructors are well trained in skill development, safety, class management, and program delivery, they are not specifically trained to support children that require additional assistance.
To ensure the best Pedalheads experience, some children may require extra support to participate. In this case, you will need to send an aide or other trained adult to accompany your child at camp. We respect your ability to assess your child's requirements and ask that you give us as much information as possible at the time of registration to better help us in supporting them so they can learn and thrive.
See our guide as to whether your child requires an aide at camp.
